Playmaking is a process of making theatre as an ensemble through creative exploration.
Synchronicity offers a variety of education programs for children ages 3-18, including summer and vacation camps, after-school enrichment programs, digital ‘on demand’ offerings, and workshops. Our Playmaking for Kids and Playmakers programs are designed to stimulate children’s imagination, build self-confidence, and inspire a love of theatre from an early age while helping develop important life skills like active listening, cooperation, eye contact, and positive self-expression.

AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Playmaking for Kids
Elementary
Participants in our after-school enrichment program and PFK camps learn how to create characters and tell stories on stage as an ensemble through creative play. Using folktales and world stories, children explore improvisation, storytelling, costumes and creative movement. Each session ends with a presentation for friends and family.
The Synchronicity Playmakers
Middle School
Participants in this program will practice audition techniques, character development, scene work, and improvisation, while working together to bring a script to life. Then, at the end of the session, we’ll add costumes, lights, and scenery and experience the ultimate excitement of performing in front of a live audience on the Synchronicity stage. All experience levels are welcome.
Playmaking For Toddlers
Early Learning
Our earliest learners build confidence, focus, and collaboration skills while they explore storytelling through music and creative movement.
